Sport display not going further than 60kw

I have a 116d f20 and it’s meant to be 116hp. But when I drive with sport displays on it will only go to 60kw which is 80hp. Is this normal?

Yes it is. In a sense: it's the price of retrofitting (you did not have the sport display from the factory, did you?). Does that 60kW actually mean 6k rpm (the maximum for your engine)? That is, does the sport display power pin reflect the tachometer pin while the power output is not linear, maximum power is reached before maximum rpm? I recall a discussion of the sport display retrofitting on the F20 forum disclosing not every engine is supplying the output data feed for the sport display.
