Preset buttons 1 & 2 popped out of the headunit.

I've been doing a lot of searching overnight to see if I could find replacement buttons for the factory navigation head unit.

After opening my door after it had been sitting in the sun 6-8hrs I found the #2 button in the pocket infront of my shifter. I picked it up and tried to ease it into the slot and #1 let go as well. I've only had the car since April ('11 35is) and it was in Minnesota most of it's life, so perhaps it wasn't a fan of mid 90s, so it's going to really enjoy August in Kansas ... but it's just weird it popped out while the car was sitting, without any help.

I've allready replaced the button to raise the hardtop, and was hoping these buttons have replacements out there too as the headunit is otherwise fine, if you hold the button in the slot (it has 2 springs on the back) you can do the light press as well as a regular press. I'd love to be able to swap out buttons or a faceplate but I've had no luck finding them alone. Only way I've seen is to buy a new headunit and either try to swap the entire hu or just the faceplate, and that's at least $300 before shipping.

Anyone else have the buttons eject? If so have you found replacements or a fix?
Thanks!

Quick update: found BMW part 65129270251 which is a faceplate for the nav system Headunit. It appears to also have all the radio buttons built in it, and after a few calls to confirm it, it sounds like this is the best way to get new buttons. Over $150, but it's all new oem from BMW. Found mine at ECS, looks like dealers can order it as well though. Much, much cheaper than the price to buy another identical used head unit with good buttons.
I'll keep everyone updated.
The actual part number with Am/Fm and mode is 65129270248.

After removing the surround, Old face plate slides off to the right (with the help of a press in for a small latch that helps lock it in place) and simply swapped the ribbon cable to the new HU faceplate. Took less than 5mins.
I Did not notice until after I installed, but the mode and AM/FM buttons are labeled 7 and 8. They still act as mode and AM FM though. It would have been nice if the 2 last buttons would work as presets so I'd have 8 instead of 6. In my mustang I have 3 presets per band (fm/am/sxm) although I'm on SXM 95% of the time.

The actual correct BMW part # for the 1-6 and Fm/am mode buttons is 65129270248.
