Dont believe the hype kid. Watch the games

The Spurs blasted the warriors in the first game of the season in Oakland. It was no fluke.
the Spurs have what it takes to beat the warriors.
The warriors strength is most teams don't have elite defenders who cant guard Curry and Durant one one one so they have to double one or the other. when that happens it create open looks for others on the team like Green and Klay Thomson.

The Spurs have Leonard on Durant, and Danny Green on Curry they dont need to double either of them.
with two big's up front in Gasol and Aldridge, Green cannot guard Aldridge one on one, nor can Zaza guard Gasol who is a skilled passer at center. its a match up nightmare for the warriors.

Then Durant has got to think about Kawhi offensively........a HUGE problem for him, kawhi is more skilled than any player he would face in the western conference playoffs, His post game is better than that of Durant, whi is essentially a very tall guard

The 25 pts might be excessive but the Spurs dominating them is NO FLUKE.

Now with Kawhi out, Danny Green has to guard Durant, and that gives Curry room to work as simmons/ mills etc are either too small or not too quick to guard him like a 6'7 Danny green with long arms can

Leonard IS THE BEST PLAYER OUT WEST, and that's indisputable especially seeing the difference with him in the game for 2.5 quarters and what took place with him out.

the reason the Spurs lost is that with Parker injured, Kawhi becomes not only the best offensive player and best defender , but the Spurs best creator, setting up others. with him out the Spurs offense collapses.
Look for Ginobili to try and have a BIG GAME in game 2. the problem is at 39 years old he can only do it for Spurs and thats not enough to get the Job done.
Great post

Warriors fans should sue for paying those prices for game 2 tickets. Just looking out for the little guy...

NBA playoffs have been atrocious to watch. Blowout games are not fun. I suggest combining both conferences, for the playoffs. Then seed them from 1 thru 16. The last few years, the Eastern conference had 7 and 8 seed teams, under 500 in the playoffs. While in the Western Conference, teams that were above 500 didn't make the playoffs. Get rid of those bad teams, and replace them with teams that go on the hardwood, and compete.

Well now the Warriors wait a week. I never thought they would sweep the Spurs. I'm happy that they won, but I would have guessed 4-1 or 4-2 at least.

Unless the Celtics pull off a miracle, the final will be the same two teams again. I hope the Warriors can beat them this time. You know the Warriors will be charged up after last year's outcome. It should be a fun Final. Too bad it doesn't start for another week.

Who really knows? All I know for sure is the Cavs are going to tank and the Warriors are going to beat them in 4 straight, for a never-been-done-before undefeated playoff run.

Kidding of course, but even if that should happen, there will still be some people who will think they are not a great team. I'll never understand fans so wrapped up with their own team they can't see greatness when it is staring at them in the face. No big deal. I think the Warriors are awesome. That's all the really matters

Well the Cavs are also playing some injured teams so both teams seem to have an easier ride, for that reason the playoffs have been boring. But I do think the Finals will be much more competitive and will go to seven games.

Any guesses when:

1. Zaza will try to roll over Lebron's ankle?
2. Draymond will kick someone's nuts and act like he's never fouled anyone his whole life?

I hope neither happens. I'd love to see a clean playoff and I'd love to see the Warriors win it on talent.

Zaza is a dirty player. He should have been tossed from the series for that sh*t play against the Spurs.

As far as Draymond goes, players' nuts seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I mean really, would you put your nuts in a place where he might be flailing one of his extremities? Seriously, I'd like to see him play like a grown up too.

I think the Warriors have a chance to win this thing without dirty plays.

What is for certain is that if the Warriors do win, you will not acknowledge that they are a great team.

The rest of the league should have stayed home as the Finals should have began last November between both teams. Same for next season. And the next. Following too.

I'll cheer for cry baby LeBron. As a former Knicks fan, now just a fan of the NBA, I cannot justify four of the top 10 NBA players on the same team (GSW). Yes, I'm a hater and I admit that.

Cleveland is just as loaded as golden state. Lebron and Kyrie are just as good as KD and Steph.

LeBron > Durant
Curry > Irving
Green > Love because of Green's groin shots
K. Thompson > JR Smith
Z. Pachulia > T. Thompson because of Zaza's steamroller tactics.

Great news

That gargantuan douche Stephen A. Smith has picked the Warriors to win the upcoming NBA Finals in 7 games.

He's been wrong ever year since 2011. Let's hope he's wrong this time too.

Go Warriors.

You'd want him to be right then if you're pulling for the warriors...

I'm not even a Cavs fan but I just sure hope LBJ can pull this off. I just cannot stand how KD went to the Warriors.

While true, LBJ was on a bad Cavs team. KD was on a championship contending thunder team that was up 3-1 in the WCF then choked the next 3 games away.

I usually don't agree with Stephen A Smith but he's totally right here.
