Well, I know these are no OEM, but....

Yesterday got a Postal package from the U.S. of A..... Cquence slotted/dimpled zinc plated REAR rotors for e89 30i (300x20mm, a straight replacement for OEM rotors).... if not anything else, fronts and rears will be looking the same now....

Will post pics, once swapped...

Is this the kit that would fit the Z4 E89? Mine is a 3.0... Would it fit my car plug n play?

Yes, that is the one.

For those who have done the swap... are you using the OEM M-Performance pad with the OEM E89 rear pads? How is the brake balance and bias? Mixing and matching pads is generally not the best thing to do

Bump - are the brake sensors that came with the F30 kit PnP for the E89 as well, or would we need to purchase the E89 specific ones and use it with the pads?

Has anyone swapped the rear and eliminated the e brake? Just curious how they like it, if they miss the e brake?

Is there anyone to know?

(Well, I believe it is called laziness, I think.... It would take me to have both cars jacked and a wheel swapped between them to know the answer for sure - the other car of mine - 330ix - runs on 18".....)

As it seems no one knows, I had to do it.

18" rim fits, something like 3/8" gap (caliper-rim) left

This thread has beaten front brakes to death. What's the compatibility for the rear brakes, bolt-up wise (ignoring ebrake - assume no ebrake on the car)?

Since it is an E46 rear end, I'm wondering if the trailing arm brake mount points and such are all standard E46?

Husker is well under that price, which is where I bought mine.

And if you want to save even more, there is a guy on eBay selling a set dirt cheap, new and unused - kit looks complete and virginal:

Good point ... if you are looking for the 4-pot setup in the front, this is a great price for this BMW part number. It also includes rear calipers (without rear rotors) ... and yellow at that price - the other colors tack on $600.

Curious if anyone knows if the rear calipers bolt up at all (aside from the emergency brake issue).

Is this the right brake kit that is PnP for the e89? Front and rear? Yellow is ~$600 cheaper than the other colors!

For that setup, not quite ... you can only use the front brakes ... you want the front only set.
