Power outage here this morning, so iced coffee, breakfast rounds, and a banana.

My DW found fresh cheese curds at one of our local farm stands yesterday, so I took another shot at making poutine with some leftover french fries and vegetable stock. No pictures, since I don't want to leave any evidence of my dietary transgressions for my doctors and health insurance.....

Not sure about the vegetable stock. But considering your situation, Nurse Jane is giving you a pass.

No meat was harmed in the making of St. Hubert poutine sauce:

MSG has been good for instant heart palpations for me long before my current condition arrived, and my home chemistry set is missing a few of their listed ingredients that I can barely pronounce.

Wait, I stand corrected! The above is for their powdered product. The canned stuff *does* apparently contain a splash of chicken residue, and does not appear to have MSG added:

Anyway, I just ordered a can from Amazon...in the name of science. I need a reference for what my healthier home-made option needs to look/taste like.....

Bagel, Lox and cream cheese.

stein_325i , a riding friend of the Jewish faith suggested adding onions and tomatoes.

In Highschool i only had some bucks for allowance and my dad never liked me drinking protein "shakes" for muscle building. I was working out at the gym everyday and he would make me eat a block of tofu cold afterwards. Then Fage greek yogurt mixed with kidney beans and honey. Little did i know. The tofu block had almost 40 grams of protein and the Yogurt before bed had casein and hella amino acids from the kidney beans and honey. That yummy dessert had 65 grams at least.
