Mystery part-swaybar

I am looking for the name of this part. It connects to the swaybar on passenger side,I believe it stiffens the shocks up when you go into a hard corner to control roll. Mine seems loose and the arm is bent,I can't find it mentioned anywhere-anybody know what is is called??

That's correct and yours looks to be in pretty rough shape. Something to be aware of about this little guy; if you make a habit of going over speed bumps too fast, eventually you'll get the rear suspension high enough on the rebound where the black plastic cam shown pointing in the 4 o'clock position will flip over counter-clockwise to about the 9 o'clock position and your lights will be permanently out of adjustment. You'll know when it happens because the next time your lights come on (at night when you can see them), they will be pointing straight down in front of the car. It's relatively easy to correct. Just jack that corner of the car up til the suspension is completely extended, reach underneath and flip the cam clockwise back into its original position.
PS: If it were me, I'd replace the rod now as it looks like it's seen some abuse under there. Couldn't be that expensive a part.

Rod, they all look like that, just crimped at manufacture.

It's a potentiometer inside. I was tempted to wire external pot. so i could adjust height from inside the car.

Food for thought, I see folk here replacing e89 control arm parts with M3 parts. They say it massively improves steering. Alas, I don’t know what replaces what.

I haven't looked at M3 parts, but it wouldn't surprise me. There is a lot of common parts between the e89 and e90.
