Registration now open for a private track day on the Englishtown Road Course

Date: Sunday, May 4th
Location: Englishtown Raceway Park Road Course
Driver Cost: $275 for non-members / $250 for club members
Driver Reservations: Spots are limited, Paypal GSEMotorsport@gmail.com with name, phone number, vehicle year/make/model and any previous track experience by Saturday, April 26th.
Driver Helmets: Auto racing helmets (SA2005 or SA2010 rating, no motorcycle helmets). We will have some helmets to rent.
Spectator Cost: FREE for all spectators
Spectator Cruise: Leaves Kinnelon Bagels at 7:30am for Englishtown Raceway

If you've ever wanted to get the chance to drive your car on a race track, here's your chance! Garden State Euros Motorsport Division will be hosting our very own track day at the Englishtown Raceway Park Road Course on Sunday, May 4th, 2013. All you need to participate is a safe, well maintained car and the desire to learn high performance driving skills from expert instructors. Beginners will sit through a classroom session and will then be paired with a coach for the entire day who will teach you proper performance driving techniques that will translate into making you a better and safer driver on the street. Since spots are limited, no refunds once you’re registered, this event will run rain or shine.

FIRST TIME? YOU’RE NOT ALONE:
These events may seem overwhelming for first timers but the goal is to attend these events as a club so you don’t feel alone. For the HPDE events, attendees will receive an assigned instructor who will sit in your passenger seat and provide driving instructions through a provided helmet radio system while you are driving on the track. Many of these certified instructors are very experienced track enthusiasts with hundreds of hours of seat time at Northeast tracks. Several of our members have attended these events in the past and can’t stress enough that it will be the best money spent on your car, period. Any experienced performance driver will tell you to spend money on more driving events to learn your car before you dump cash on performance parts. These are not “racing” events but rather instructor-led high performance driving education events. Trackpedia.com has a great beginners guide to track days.
