Not a BMW, but the two ends of the spectrum of "nope" imo.

I actually don't mind the livery on the C63, but that "AMG" sticker on the hood is hideous. No words on the c300 -> "AMG" badge conversion lol.

The only reason I'd ever put a fake badge on would be to undersell my car. Putting a 320i badge on my 340i (not that I'd *actually* do it). Wolf in sheep's clothing and all that.
The thought had crossed my mind, but I'd never be able to violate my car like that.

It’s kinda cool on the 1-series because all cars look the same (only 2 tailpipes on the left side).

A loooong time ago, I bought a new 340Z [ETA: fat thumb, 300Z] turbo, removed the turbo badge. A coworker looked at it and said too bad you didn't get the turbo. I smiled.

This thread reminds of a conversation I had with my girlfriend, where she said there are girls who refill luxury brand makeup cases (Chanel or what not) with cheap drug store brand products (powder, lipstick ...).
