Gran Turismo 7 on PS5

I was able to get one recently via a limited online "release" of PS5 by registering on the PSN.

Use these steps:
1. Login to your PSN account
2. Click on Hardware, then click on PS5.
3. Select on the upper right the button to "Register Your Interest"
4. Click on button and follow the steps to register

About a week to 10 days later I got an invite for the following day to participate. The 1st time it took about 35 minutes to enter the store and there were no more left. I had to re-register and the 2nd time was last week and worked like a charm: got into the store in about 10-15 minutes and they had inventory.

Set it up this past weekend and it's just amazing, and I'll have the Logitech/GT7 setup sometime this week .

Hi. I have a home made rig (I converted my grown up daughters first ever pine bed into a rig), grabbed a sports seat from a wreckers and bang.. I moved from the G29 to the G923 about 3 months ago. The brake pedal being the main reason for changing and it was just before the DD Pro's were being released... I agree, it is very noisy. The brake pedal is better but still not right in terms of feel.. I think I will get a DD Pro.. perhaps nearer to xmas when I can set up a second rig so visitors can race at home with me (of course they will use the G923 wheel... lol).

I would love to play the GT7 but I am a PC person, And it is not available on PC yet, Hope it comes out soon. I am also going to Buy Logitech G290 Next week.

Ive been playing Gran Turismo 7 a lot -
there is a car called BMW VGT (vision gran turismo)

I am sure it is across between the M4 CSL but with a M2 front and M2 rear

the issue i have is - it doesn't have a cockpit view!

but the engine sounds like the S58 (without burbles)

now using it to do Le Mans for about 850,000 bucks for every win

Sardenga world touring car, 15 laps. Has a higher return per hour. You dont even have to worry about loosing time in the rain. But its a 800pp race instead of 700pp.

I wish there were more GT2 and GT1 cars funny enough lol.

i've done that but i don't like the track. i can do 7 laps in La Sarthe but not 15 in Sardegna.

stupid Fanatec keeps disconnecting nowadays

hopefully there will be a firmware update to fix it, otherwise heading towards retirement and cashing out on the PS5 (assuming still supply issues)

How did you pay for the fantatec? Visa/Mastercard?

If its within the OEM guarantee period you can reach out of fanatec, if not, you can try contacting your credit card company and see if they have an extended warranty policy (assuming you dont have an entry level credit card, you should)

You can have them reimburse the charge. You can tell sell the fatatec and get another wheel.

Fanatec isn't sold in my country i imported it via a friend from overseas

Just want to say, I like GT7 a lot but if you're looking for simulation it's a terrible option. From 1 (not realistic) to 10 (realistic), it's probably a 4 and that's me being generous. Great option for fun though.

i give it a 2 for realism, 10 being real car real track

AC 3
ACC / iR 4
RF2 5

but number of cars & tracks = 100 out of 10 for gt7, looks spot on. just that they don't drive, sound or feel like the real thing - both the cars and tracks. it's even faster to drive around in hard racing slicks over puddles lol.

I'd lean toward 2 as well.

It's amazing how terribly they implement soft/medium/hard slicks. Why do they make tire noise too?? Why does a GT3 car understeer into a hairpin going 40 mph?

It's a really fun game as long as you don't want realism.
