Just get whatever works for you and your lists seems ok. Make sure that the conditioner doesn't touch the scalp (clogs your pores) and only stays on the hair. Hot showers are to be avoided but if you must, finish off w much cooler water to avoid drying all your skin/hair. You can try to take care of yourself and be mistaken for someone decades younger or walk around w premature wrinkles and sunspots because not caring is 'manly' and you want to steal Tommy Lee Jones' next role
Thanks for the info. Not sure if I can avoid hot showers haha, but I'll try giving the hair a cold rinse at the end.

Np. I like hot showers too but just finish off w cool water the last few secs. It also supposedly does wonders for the immune sys, besides the skin/hair thing.

Some of you need to try a little harder

face: kiehl's facial fuel
beauty counter for men lotion (sometimes)

body:
Burt's bee's bodywash or sulfate free body wash by "the right to shower"

Kiehls facial fuel is very good. Smells great, works great. I use it a lot along with other things. Vitamin C serum, retinol creams, and even face masks. Yeah I guess I'm a girlie man. But my skin looks pretty good.

I don't even use conditioner. I got prescribed some special kind of red tropical shampoo since I've got dermatitis. Other than that, I shower with warm water, and right before I hop out of the shower, I turn the shower knob to cold and send it . Wakes me up

For my head I have 3 different CBD-infused tins of lotion. I also have some gerri-curl juice in a bottle, and then a bottle of Nivea. Rotation, just depends on how dry my head feels (shave everything but eyebrows above the neck, twice a week)

For washing everything else, I use a bar of African Black soap, switching out each time with the cocoa-butter version.

When I tried using an implanted CGM device, the Dr. always complained I had leather for skin when he tried to cut me. Generally, I don't wear a shirt on weekends until dinner time, and I'm out in the yard all day. The bald head needs some protection now and then.

Hair I use whatever my wife uses, I don't care, all the same to me. Body I prefer to use soap bars, not liquid. Face I shave with Fusion power and whatever shaving gel I have, I use St. Ives apricot scrub daily (I like it), Nuxe aftershave and La Roche Posay B5 moisturizer

Shave: Afta pre-shave, Braun Series 7 electric, splash of Dickinson’s Witch Hazel when done. I shave 2-3 times a week.

Bar soap (Doce Men’s something or other at the moment), CeraVe face wash and shampoo in shower. Alternate between “whatever” and Neutrogena T-Sal during the week for shampoo.

Electric shavers intrigue me. How would you compare it to traditional razor?

Night and day. I get a much closer shave and no nicks with the electric and have used them for years. But it takes a good month for your skin to get accustomed to it. You need give it a full month. A good pre-shave lotion like Afta helps. The razor you select also matters a lot. I like something higher speed. Prefer Braun (and once used Panasonic) but hate Norelco.

In terms of shaving, I first trim my beard and line it up with an electric razor (Panasonic one I brought from Costco like 4 years ago). Then for a shaving cream/gel I use Nivea shaving gel and Gillette fusion 5 to get a better line-up I guess.

Aftershave, I use Nivea Mens Sensitive Post Shave Balm.

I do this 2 times a week.

I don't like Norelco either. I use a Remington. Have a new one right now. Have had it for about 6 months. My Remington before that lasted around 10 years. Changed the blades and screen once a year.

Buzzcut @ blade #3 once a week or so. Face shave with same hair clippers at the same time. Face shave with actual razor & shave cream if ever I need to be respectable. Soap and water all the way.

Yes, and many no-name ones too. I got to try real Castile made with olive oil many years and never looked back. It's hard to find retail ones that use olive oil, but even without it, it's still miles better than detergent soaps.
