After having an M-Sport steering wheel on my 5 series I decided to upgrade the wife's 35i to an M-Sport steering wheel. I ordered 32307842926 (35is part number) from my local dealer for $600 since a wrap and thickening with a place I trust was $550. I could get the new steering wheel faster and wouldn't have to pay for shipping on top off the $550 re-wrap and thickening cost.
From start to finish, including a 30 min wait after disconnecting the battery, I had this down in about 45 minutes. We are very happy with the results.

Without a doubt. Significantly more suple. It's thicker than the steering wheel on my M5C but the feel of the leather is the same. I'd recommend heading to a dealer and feeling and M Sport steering wheel. That's what they all feel like.

I want to do exactly the same, I don't like the thin steering wheel in my (new) Z4 E89, the M-sport steering wheel in my 2019 F40 is a lot thicker.
Would you have a guide with steps (especially how to handle and disconnect the airbag) somewhere? |
