How does that "steer" the curl? So I need the curl to go a bit to the left and hit yours, bumping it out of the ring. Is the coefficient of drag that critical that the small change in ice tension makes it move?

Is this why I also can't steer a shopping cart when I am riding on the back? I confess, I have been trying for YEARS to work out the steering on the shopping carts.

I used to steer the carts with my feet dragging against the wheel. Drag against the left wheel, go left. Drag against the right wheel, go right. No precision or accuracy, but it worked a bit. More fun to get inside and let someone push. You never know what's going to happen. Close your eyes and pray for the best. lol

Edit: even better to be the one who pushes someone else in the cart.

This wont steer the curl, the route and goal is afaik initialized by the curler. But if any micro obstacles are present onto the ice surface this would surely affect the slide. I read also somewhere that the brushing is applying very small temperature effect to the ice surface and this should increase the thin water film to let the curl better slide.

She actually was content to be anonymous until people made a stink that when donations are that high and it could be life altering for an org or possible shadiness on the part of the org so they kept demanding and harping "for checks and balances" for her to disclose who's getting billions so now she does a tiny blurb once she's donated and after some time has passed.

She's a real one. Done more good quietly than probably Musk, Besos and Branson combined.
