I'm in Saint Louis visiting some fam. Huge fireworks stands here! Bought a fair amount and i'll be doing fireworks over the next few days but they are still doing some shows for the pubic round here. They have shows where you can drive up, check out the fireworks from your car and then leave after.

NO. Last year we shot a mortar at my Indian neighbors garage door and he came over with a steel rake and started swinging.
Scariest moment of my life. Never again. |

Been lighting about 5-10 each weekend with sparklers for neighborhood kids to enjoy.
Plan to stock up on our way to NC this weekend. |

Bought a $350 supply of mortars and multi-shots. Should be fun.
In years past I had a supply of 400 mesh aluminum powder and potassium perchlorate. Would mix a few ounces in a round shell and set them off. Ridiculous amount of report that eventually got more attention than I wanted. Reminded me of the old M80's.

4th of July is our biggest house party of the year. We always do a big show and this year will be no different other than less hugs and hand shaking. Me and a couple of friends always put on a big show. Stay safe everyone!

One of the benefits of having a major commercial fireworks event company in our town is that they have to test/practice/demonstrate their shows somewhere. We see/hear them at least monthly, and I have no interest in seeing them on the 4th of July any more.....

Our friends who own the boat business set them off from the dock at their house. We all setup on the lake and watch from the water. Probably 50+ boats scattered in that big cul-de-sac.
They usually go big as they write a lot of it off as a business expense as they have a lot of customers come in to watch.....so advertising?

I go outside at night for the fireworks but also for the off chance of a house fire. Also enjoy stories coming out soon after about morons blowing their fingers off like that dumbass on the NY Giants a few years back.
