Official E89 Z4 Performance/Mod list
I'd like to thank Jason (Administrator) for his fast responce adding a subforum for all the tuning/technical talk.
This is a list with all the performance upgrades/peripherals up to date for the E89 specificly. If anyone wants to help out just post it here and we will summarize it after all input is done. This is a partial rip from the 335 forum so all credits go to forum member imaznumkay who did the original list. I Just edited the list and took off/updated some products that dont or do apply to the E89 on my knowledge. I will provide links for every Product later on as it is easy to look them up on a search engine. I thought this list was gonna be just a "copy-paste" but it actually took some time. Exhaust Systems:
ECU Tuning/Piggyback:
Downpipes:
Front Mount Intercooler: All N54 Intercoolers should fit with small modifications
Blow-Off/Diverter Valves:
Coilovers/Swaybars/Springs:
Performance Brakes:
Intake Systems/Filters:
Limited Slip Differentials (LSD): Reported fitments for E89 are with the Quaife and Wavetrack LSD but all should fit.
Oil Coolers/Upgraded Cooling Systems:
Bodykits/Aero kits:
Retrofits from newer or other models: LCI LED/Chrome side markers: Confirmed! Part number 63137303243-63137303244 Cruise control: Confirmed! New style -/+ shifters: Confirmed! This list was made/edited randomly, so no favoritism is intent I will try to keep it updated as much as i can, if i missed anything, or something doesnt apply, please go ahead and pm me. click

Can you please correct the Eisenmann part? The system for the E89 is a downpipe back exhaust.

I hope Bastuck eventually release an exhaust (listen to one on the 335i!) - that's the only one I would upgrade to over the 'is' system which sounds excellent already...I had one comment that it sounds like an F1!

Are you sure? Did you contact ER to see if they sent the correct model because they have the chargepipe under the E89 Section on their website.

Yes there is a couple of guys running these. If I were you I would hold off on buying an intercooler though as I have some insider info that an intercooler is going to be released for the z4 that is half the cost of the stett one.
