F1 2023: Spanish GP - Barcelona (June 4)

Just a few thoughts after qualifying:

Championship – Max will probably take the crown very early in the season. He is in the prime of his career and Checo, under obvious pressure, makes too many mistakes.
Ferrari – Years of mismanagement have destroyed the once fantastic prospect of Charly. He has no confidence and is prone to mistakes. His less talented teammate Sainz is having the upper hand. Such a shame because Charly should be rated in the Max/Lewis/Fernando/Prost/Hakkinen category. IMO Carlos is in the Barichello/Massa/Bottas/Berger/Patrese category.
Mclaren – Piastri may be a super talent but is now nowhere near Lando. Today the gap was 0.9 s.
Mercedes – Lewis has bounced back after last year’s struggle and seems to dominate Russell.
Alpine – What’s not to like about the Gasly/Ocon driver lineup?

So , by this I think that Alonso has a (big)! chance to get Checo's seat at Red Bull in 2024 ...

41 YO Fernie would be a great TM for Max I think, well...it's down to Checo now, as the city money dealers say that if you can't make a pound anymore then what are you doing in the job.
