Thanks for sharing all the updates in here that you did. I've been compiling research on wheel specs for the z4 which i've mostly got an offset range done for every size and I got sucked into your post in regards to some fit, wheel choices, and all the suspension setups you went through. Very helpful info!

Glad it's been helpful! Going to be posting newer stuff on YouTube, so hopefully some of that will be interesting/helpful as well!

I'm actually considering going to a non-M-Sport front bumper with aftermarket lip. This picture in particular, has me really loving the look:

Made a change this week that is really just a test fit at this point but I love the look so far and felt compelled to post. Acura MDX gem style headlight conversion. IMO it suits the front end better than stock... feels more aggressive than the stock headlights' cartoonish vibe. Now she needs a wash and better pictures.

So what sort of light pattern / performance do they give ?

The purchase was all about aesthetics, not really about light output or pattern. That said they perform on par with stock, although aimed high at the moment. I'm going to have to look into adjusting them.

Coincidentally I have that lip and im in the process of having it installed on my Black Sapphire E89

Yes its for the non M-sport, I had it in my garage for a few years and since its fiberglass it became warped. Working on panel boding to my bumper and getting it painted. Its a little rough so it may take some time.

Got it installed, I purchased this years ago off ebay. It's fiberglass and the fitment isn't the greatest. I do like the subtle look though.
