Sudden vibration/shuddering during acceleration and low idle

Greetings all,

Today i noticed while accelerating to get on the highway that the car was vibrating/shaking. It kind of went away at cruise speed but came back every time i pressed the gas pedal. Then the yellow CEL light went on. After that, it almost stalled at several intersections. Drove straight to my shop and awaiting a diagnosis. Has this happened to anyone else? Sound familiar? Any help is appreciated.

Could be any one of a dozen causes. Sit tite until your shop responds.

Thus far, its a faulty coil pack

Makes sense. How much was that repair?
How many miles on your car?
Which engine?

I had a similar experience. Replaced plugs and ignition coils. Seemed to fix it. Had around 40k miles.
