alright lets not break the tradition.. here comes the first race weekend topic of 2021.. grid is looking tight and we probably will see some interesting races..

2 practice sessions are done already but here is the program..

I'm looking forward to seeing how Yuki (pronounced You-key apparently) Tsunoda performs in qualifying..he looked pretty handy in the practice sessions.

I think we are in for a treat. We will see who can handle the pressure at the sharp end and who cannot. The team mate battles on race day, vs quali should be epic. I also look to the future as the team rookies (first year in the team, not F1) do against their more settled compatriots.

Well, very close at the top. Good to see M0x take poll with 3 purple sectors & pair of very quick Merc's 2nd & 3rd.
I do wonder how much faster M0x would have been had he not damaged the floor of his car though.

Looking forward to the race tomorrow & what will hopefully see Lewis & Max battling for the Championship.

11th for Perez....

well done for Max and Red Bull.. solid performance..
and i cant understand why they let Perez out into traffic on the out lap that his lap was cancelled.. but Perez is more like a Sunday driver things can still be interesting for him..

actually im a bit relieved on Merc's side..

car was looking awful up until quali.. not much balance and it was clearly looking hard to drive even on TV.. but both cars were looking pretty good in quali.. i believe they can have a better race performance tomorrow..

Leclerc.. that guy is fast.. well done for Charles..

and nice performance for Sainz for his debut weekend with Ferrari..

Norris and Ricciardo will pull each other up thats very cool.. McLarens can make a surprise this year.. after learning the car more..

interestingly Alpha Tauri looking balanced and fast as well..

for Vettel..
unlucky timing for another flying lap.. this season start wasnt like a start that he really needed.. Stroll looks stronger than ever.. being 4 time champion in the past might bring more pressure on Vettel unless things get better starting from tomorrow..

Mazepin can do some weird stuff this year really..

its great to watch F1 again..

his pace was top 5, thats what will count in the race.

Hopefully RB vs Merc lasts all year and we get a close WDC battle all year.
Midfield battle looks to be very good all year.
Very happy to see Ferrari seven tenths of the pace and not the 1+ all of last year in quali.
All the team name changes and driver swap is still taking some getting used to.
Mazespin might be the second coming of Lord Maldonado, clearly wouldn’t be here without the family money.
