Merci beaucoup mon ami! C'est une vraiment grand honneur pour moi!

Today I've been at the wrapping-shop for the enhancement of my lower-M-bumper-bar in the Z4 Mille Miglia style:

wow, looks good. Ever since this body style came out on the market, I'm so infatuated with the design lines-so smooth and sexy.

Thank you very much.
Yes, these are BMW Performance wheels. Front rims from 3 series, rear rims from 5 series.

I was fed up with the November weather in mid/western Europe, so I drove 1.200 km to catch some sun rays...

Congratz on the car of the month! I cannot make up my mind up on the new front bumber, but I absolutely love everything else about your car! Love it! Also great to see someone using the Z4 for longer road trips!

Edit: Nice license plate also!

Thank you very much Sirs!

I did not recognize that my Z is COTM before you wrote this! Wow!

@Asbjorn: The Z is great for longer road trips! And it is not thirsty aside the German Autobahn... I reduced the fuel consumption from 13,8 l/100km avg to 8,14 l/100km avg on the French Autoroutes with their 130 km/h slow speed limits - that is boring to drive, but it's nice to know that the N54 can be so economically.

Below, another picture from the Cote d'Azur:

I remember getting 17km/l from my previous E91 330d on a trip from Hamburg to Paris. Considering that the my Z4 has 100 more hp and isn't a diesel, I was impressed with the 13.5km/l I got during my 4000km roadtrip to and from Chongqing here in China. This even included a lot of driving in traffic jams inside Chongqing. It was well over 14km/l while cruising between the cities. But then the speed limits are only 100-120km/h here in China.

btw 13.5km/l equals

7.41 Liters per 100 km
31.75 US Miles per gallon
38.14 British Miles per gallon

Ok enough talk about mpg. The N55 is much better for this purpose anyway.
Nice picture! Makes me miss Europe a little.

Long time no news.

Update 1:
4 layers of liquid glass for both BMWs:

Update 2: Self-made ///M-turn-signals on my Z:

I considered a complete new design of the side parts, at first.
Finally I decided to build my own p&p-solution instead of that.

Unfortuntaley I have to re-paint them with plasti-dip, because I was too impatient...
So no detail-pictures for today.

I hope you like my turn signals!
