Have not tried it out yet. I'm wary of going full tilt with it myself.

Picked up my AMR Vantage from Aston Martin Sydney today after getting a twin plate AMR clutch and GT4 lightened flywheel fitted.

Ooh boy is it ever good. They also did some twiddling with the shift cables (it is a transaxle) and it is so slick.

Finally got to wear the colour matched Piloti shoes with matching carbon panel. Yes I’m tragic. They are such nice driving shoes though. I’ve got two pairs now. Highly recommended for those with a third pedal.

My highway hauler in Kansas in January. Terrible wx but the pup and I got into some quail so the long drive was worth it.

A small lift, bronze Method Race Wheels and 270/70/16 Geolanders A/Ts. The Methods were the only legit off road wheels I could find that would fit the bore and lug pattern of the E53. 16s don’t really fit without some liberal use of the angle grinder on the tie rod ends and caliper backs.

I swapped in a new 4.6 M62 and a Quaife differential, which is game changing in the snow and mud. The gas mileage is atrocious so my aux tank is a standard jerry can. It’s as much fun as my G80, but is definitely a beggar….it always needs something.
