You all asked for it, and here it is. This is not an easy problem to figure out. It's likely that you cannot figure it out in your head, so don't try unless you want a huge headache. I've attempted to make the answer harder to google, but no amount of obfuscation will ever be perfect. For my part, I reasoned the correct answer after about 30-45 minutes of work my first time. If you recognize the riddle, and I've somehow mangled it in my attempt at obfuscation, please PM me. I've tried to be cautious, but it's possible mistakes were made in the obfuscation process. Here is the riddle:

There are 5 different cars in a row in an otherwise empty parking lot, each car is a different make. Each cars owner comes from a different country. The 5 owners each drink a certain type of drink, prefer only one kind of candy, and keep a certain pet. None of owners of these fine cars have the same pet, eat the same kind of candy, or drink the same thing.

The question is: Who owns the ferret?

* The Italian drives an m6.
* The Russian has dogs as pets.
* The American drinks V8.
* The Corvette is parked to the left of the Mustang (from the viewers perspective).
* The Corvette owner drinks Red Bull.
* The person who likes Skittles owns several birds.
* The owner of the Bentley likes M&Ms.
* The man parked in the center space drinks soda.
* The Belgian is parked in the first (viewers leftmost) parking space.
* The man who likes Now&Laters is parked next to the one who has hamsters.
* The man who owns the rabbit is parked next to the man who likes M&Ms.
* The car owner who likes Reese's pieces drinks Gatorade.
* The Cuban likes lemon drops.
* The Belgian is parked next to the Ferrari.

Even though I was the one who presented the riddle, I just solved it again as it's been a few years since the first time I solved it. Thankfully, I managed to come to the correct answer. I must be getting dumber as I get older, as this time it took me an hour. Granted, the TV was on in the background, and I was also eating while solving it, but I think I may have a few too many beers in the past.

I will present the answer after a couple in a day or so, if nobody else does so first. BTW, for those that haven't figured out a methodology for solving it, an Excel spreadsheet will help immensely.
