Who else is ready for the '25 NFL Season?
I have to admit that I watched most of the Hall of Fame game last week and shortly afterward friends held the draft order for our Fantasy League. After finishing fourth last year, I'm drafting third and am looking forward to the trash talk and proposed trades. Of course, the Commissioner bought a gaudy trophy and I joked that I've made room for it. Good luck to all in your leagues!

Heck yes! I reconfigured my garage TV space last month in preparation for the football season. Gotta have 2 TV's going: 1 to watch my Vikes and the other one for Red Zone.
I was 12 points away from taking my fantasy championship last year. I hope this is the season I can break thru and get the trophy. As for real football, my Vikings should be competitive but the wildcard is the QB. If he can be at least a good game manager I think they could win 10 to 12 games and get in the playoffs. Heck, they won 14 games last year with Sam Dannold......but when it mattered most they couldn't perform. Either way it will be fun to watch.

Vikes squeak into the Wildcard, and lose in the second round
I'm generally more concerned with my pool numbers coming up. Switching things up this year though. Instead of my youngest son's name on the square, we are switching to our new granddaughter.

Well played. You will have to go look in a Cowboys fans garage for pics of SB trophies. The Vikings helped to gift a couple SB wins to the Cowboys for that silly Herschel Walker trade in the early 90's.

jealousy is not becoming of you...
![]() In reality, the meme that Philly fans are bad is so overblown... I'd be way more afraid going to a 9ers game (or old Oakland game) than I would be going to anything out here. |

Who knows what those two 1st rounders for Dallas will turn into. If Arch Manning is what they say he is, I see them using those picks to trade up in draft. Parsons now highest paid non-QB. Is he better than Watt and Garrett? Micah Parsons: $47m TJ Watt: $41m Ja'Marr Chase: $40m Myles Garrett: $40m Danielle Hunter: $35m Maxx Crosby: $35m Justin Jefferson: $35m Nick Bosa: $34m Ceedee Lamb: $34m Last edited by M3WC; 08-28-2025 at 04:55 PM.. |

Packers' draft picks aren't going to be all that great. If they went from 10-11 wins to at least 1-2 more? They draft fairly late every year anyway and haven't done much with the first rounders in forever. Except maybe this year. New WR could be a good one.
