Fender

Anyone have any experience on how to remove the front fender panel that houses the turn signal. Some ninny at work dented the fender. I know who i parked next to and the paint is the same so I will check their car on tuesday.

But i digress, I want to take it off and see if the body shop can salvage otherwise I need to replace. Thank God they hit only that panel. The hood and other panels were untouched. Thanks.

If it's minor enough to be fixed with paintless dent repair (PDR) then just leave the fender on. I have seen them do amazing work before, so it's worth a shot. All depends on the dent.

I had this dimple from ice and snow - snow melted- started to freeze - and expanded- at first I thought a paintless guy could fix it - however there is a double pannel behind the dent - so off to the body shop - its been fixed - and you would never know it was there - some times Paintless guys just cant fix things !

Wow! Can you explain more about how that happened? Was there something that caused the ice to push up against the car? That is crazy.

Aside from access, that dent is too big for PDR -- it's best for smaller, more focused dents.
