What next after the e89...
So after 5 years of ownership i think it's time to change car, used e89 are popping up left and right (since you can get an 09 very cheap) and im really leaning towards the new Jag F-type and also really really like the new s5 with the turbo 3 liter v6, i know, totally different cars.... Any thoughts?

S5 is getting replaced next year. F-type R coupe will most likely be my next car if I stay in the 2 seater sports car section, if not I will go to the RS6.

The Jaguar is too loud (cop motioned me to keep it down during my test drive...) and too unpractical on a roadtrip for two. But a very nice ace nevertheless!
If my lease is up before the new Z4 is out, I may just go for a used one to tie me over... How about the new Corvette? |

I test drove the f-type. The navigation was too low, poor assembly with large sloppy panel gaps. And to match the options to my Z came out to almost 80+ with an insane monthly payment. To get the f type at a decent price was a long wait special order.
I would recommend the new vette. Best bang for the buck, or a used Porsche. |

Wait for news of the new Z4?
I almost traded in for a C63 507 coupe. Wait for the new C63 coupe?? It's a hard decision. I am leaning towards the F-Type coupe. But as some say the build quality and reliability may not be up to your standard. |

Your other car is 997.2 still? I was going to suggest a Porsche but you have that covered already.
Are you looking for a "lifestyle" car, a "track rat" or ??? For "lifestyle" car, I think a vert is awesome, so F type over S5. For track rat, I'm sure you know this already, but NEITHER! |

The S5 is actually supercharged, not turbocharged. Less upgrading possibilities, and the sunroof is just a pop-up, not a power slide (unless you are going convertible). Gorgeous car though, considered it before my z4. Depending what you're looking for, the rs5 is quite a bit faster (but pricey for a V8 upgrade).

I will keep mine. There are no more Naturally aspirated Inline-6 engines out there anymore, which is a shame.
And for the looks, in the price range of the E89 there is not a single competitor at all. Teach me wrong |

You can still get a Porsche that's NA. But true, it'll cost you more and won't look as good

I saw one of them when I was looking to upgrade the Z4. Sat in it and immediately got out. It's a step down from the Z4. The quality of the interior is on par with the A-Class which is what it is based on. For a Benz the doors are light and feel cheap when you close them. Unlike the C-class which is far superior in terms of ride quality and solidity. The sound of a BMW straight 6 is intoxicating and you'll need to step up to the next AMG V8 to top it.

Judging by all reviews the Ftype is quite a car (albeit with a horribly impractical boot on a roadster). But definately would take that over the S5 etc unless you want 4 seats.
