E89 Z4 23i 6AT ECU Engine & Transmission Tuning

Has anyone done any E89 Z4 23i 6AT ECU Engine & Transmission Tuning?

I am trying to explore if there are any original BMW ECU mapping files that could flash the engine HP from 201 to 215, as per normally offered by the 25i model.

Since this Z4 model is equipped with a 3-stage intake manifold already, the engine could definitely provide more power than is offered by the stock.

Also is there any ZF6 transmission ECU that could flash to quicker shifting?

For the 35is and for my style of spirited street driving, xHP and MHD worked fine. R.E92 on the U.K. forum does some bespoke programming.

XHP is a good product for the auto box..makes it feel much more like the later ZF8HP boxes..

ECU wise Celtic offers a modest tune that adds a little ‘pep’ but not much in BHP

The 23i doesn’t really have anywhere to go tuning wise..

Yiu can adjust throttle lag to give the illusion of more go..

I have done the remap on my 23i, and to be honest, I doubt is only a placebo. I am happy with the gains, 17-19hp, something about that. Not a lot, but made the car more responsive, especially in 1st and 2nd gear.

Cost was 300e

Don't forget to change your ignition coils, I had one or two not working well, and the engine was underpowered, no errors on the dash. I found out that only while having the car on the dyno.
