Haircut at last
Finally went to get my hair cut today after nearly 4 months. It was waaaaayyy too shaggy. I look horrible with long hair. Ok, I look horrible period, but worse with long hair. Got it cut hardcore military short. Not quite full buzz cut, but close. the last time someone cut that much hair off my head was in basic training 43 years ago. So much better now without all that shagginess.

Wow. We are lucky enough to have a girl that comes to our home and cuts our hair. She's been on lockdown until recently, so yeah, after this next haircut I'll be like...

And do you have to keep getting one of these "hair cuts"? Doesn't the hair grow back? I feel like a looong time ago, I got one of these "hair cuts". I can't quite remember.

I ended up just taking my beard trimmers at the same length I keep my beard and buzzed it awhile back.
It was super shaggy after like 6-7 months of no haircut, and it's thinning on top anyway. |

One of the first things I did when things started to open. Actually scheduled for another one a week from tomorrow.

LOL - I just got 2nd after COVID yesterday. I had to go about 6 weeks, but MO was not not hit that hard. We are actually going off all restrictions next Tuesday statewide.

A number two blade has always kept me short and honest. Can arrange the mirror doors to see the back of my head.

I went in for a haircut a week ago after three months, you know between the tornado and the lockdown from the virus. Good thing, I just received an invitation to see a friend tonight so we'll see what pandemic dating looks like...

I couldn't hold it no more so I cut hair myself. Just hold enough hair with my finger, I use thinning scissor and go through many passes. For side and back, i use trimmer and work it out with help of my wife. Honestly, since I cut it to my typical style, it looks better than when I was getting it done at the hair salon. It just looks more natural IMO. But of course, I messed it up a few times and had some bare spots on the side for few days at first try.

Looks like a waiting list for haircuts in the UK. No sign yet when the barbers will be open.

JEALOUS. I'm way, way overdue. At this point I may just go full hippie.
Again. If I ever do actually get a haircut it's going to be SHORT and I'm going to come home and buy one of those groomers on Amazon. Many of my Indian coworkers have been letting their beards go. Quite the sight during online meetings. |

I was going to go all Jason Statham with it. I even showed a pic of him to the woman who cuts my hair. She was a bit freaked out that I wanted it that short. She went a little more conservative and left it a bit longer on top and she was right, it looks better. I'm pretty happy with it as it is now. I just hope it doesn't get all spiky on me as it grows out.

I bought a Wahl, watched a few YouTube videos, and have my wife cut my hair. It comes out just as good if not better than what my barber did. I’m never going back to a barber again lol. Save $25 a month.
