Mixing run flats and non-run flats

I'll have to admit, I was skeptical that you could not mix run flats and non-run flats, especially in the low-profiles we run on 18"+ wheels.

However, I had to go for two weeks in between putting on my non-run flat rear tires and front tires (on back-order). In the interim, I drove my car (sparingly) with the RTFs on front.

I would not say it was "scary", but it was really noticeable. The front tram-lined like crazy!

Lesson-learned... They don't mix well.
