The question is does the FIa have access to telemetry? Would Renault be asked to deliver their temetry from this race? Are they required to keep the telemetry data for a period of time? Cuz the answer is in this data... They can so easily tell if in fact it was deliberate from this data.... I understand he lifted mid corner which would be obvious in the telemetry data

This makes McLaren's snafu last year look like child's play. If this is corroborated, I cannot imagine the penalty for the team. I'd have to think that ING Renault is gone, at a minimum.. do not pass go, do not collect $200.
What do you guys think? |

Yeah, I'm sure that FIA will get the telemetry and probably ask the others to sign sworn affidavits. They'll probably say that they never gave any such instruction, and an investigation will ensure. Somebody will likely be banned for good. Shame shame!

There's too much drama off the track in F1 these days.

I read that they might take away Alonso's championships in 2005 and 2006, way before this incident. I hope they don't...
This might be a good reason for Renault to leave... they haven't achieved much since Alonso left them.

This may really affect Alonso´s possible move to Ferrari. He is a great driver but always, always in the eye of all storms.
