Panic Mode

Has anybody tried this mode on your remote key (by pressing at least 3 sec the luggage compartiment button)?

"Panic Mode" is included with the "Alarm System" option.

The panic alarm feature is not fitted on UK vehicles. We are also deprived of an internal boot lid release (having to use the key fob or BMW emblem on the boot lid to open)

Ahhha!!! I noticed that the internal boot lid release wasn't on my car but then thought it was part of the 'convenience' option which I didn't get.

Have read about the panic mode but don't see why we shouldn't get it. It's not like there are no crimes or car jackings here in the UK.

Will try it out of curiosity when I get a chance all the same.
