the turbo version was priced at $AUD112 000, considering our price is usually around twice as much as what you guys have to pay i think it might be around 60k US?

My guess is that it will peg in just a bit under the E93. |

It looks like the pic with the button is in a car that does not have the NAV option and I am thinking it is a storage box without the NAV. No button on units with NAV.

Sorry I don't Shakal. The trunk with the top up was not that big either though, expectable from a roadster i guess Also there was a direct connection from the cockpit to the trunk through a rectangular flap.

You are welcome; I am sure you will like it better when you see it in person. I wonder how the M version will look like. I hope this time they make the grill on the front side of the cars like the Z3 M was

My guess is around $60K for a well loaded E89.
As to M-version: why? Put the Dinan firmware into the N54 engine and this car should get near 4.0 - 4.3 zero-60. Assuming decent underpinnings and sound handling, would predict that - right out of the box plus Dinan tuned - it will do anything you'd want a car to do outside a track setting. In these tight times, not easy to see what BMW would add from the parts bin to justify an M label and much doubt any R&D would be invested for such a niche market. BMW did have opportunity to tune up the N54 in the 3-series and has chosen not to, so rumors of a BMW-sponsored firmware upgrade are so far just that. |

Ok, does anyone else realize that this car (supposed to retail at about 40K) does not have auto climate?????? What are they thinking? thats kind of ridiculous for a base car that starts that high. The 3 series comes with dual zone. Not for nothing, i like putting a comfy temp and letting the car do the rest.

@ Trunk space
We took the test at the auto motor show Brussels, and you can put a flightcase of 75x30x50 cm in it. That's about 30x12x20 inch if I'm not wrong. So you can get an idea of the size of the trunk. |

The car is absolutely OUTSTANDING in person. Based on comparisons of announced prices in Europe between the current 3.0si and the new sDrive30 I think it will be priced very close to that; around $42 and the sDrive35 will be about $5k+ more. |

Jury is still out for me. I saw the car in person at the toronto auto show; wasn't impressed. I honestly have no love for hard-top convertibles; once the top is tucked away, the trunk is useless. I would much rather see the Z4 in a rag top.

The hood sucks big time with those big grooves. I will probably get the M version so I hope there is a hump in the hood instead of an indent.
