Will E90 wheels fit E89?

Contemplating selling my '06 330i and buying a Z4. Can anyone advise me on if the wheels from an E90 will fit an E89? I have a set of winter wheels with new rubber and a I just picked up a set of chrome wheels with summer tires a year ago. Any info is appreciated.

Yes they will fit as far as bolt pattern is concerned. Do check the offset difference. TireRack has a page where you can plug in the numbers and see the offset difference. Or simply ask your dealership with all the wheel data on hand.

The offset on the E90 will be a little weak (too high offset) in my opinion for the E89. A small spacer or more meat on the tires will take care of some of the gap.

For aggressive fitment, E9x M3 offsets are basically perfect for the car.

How did the fronts sit without a spacer?
