HELP: heater doesn't work

Anyone know what could be the prb and cost involved? The fan and other functions work, just that there is no heat.

I don't have a reader, I'm at the mechanic now, so I guess I'm at their mercy haha.

Didnt you just have a low coolant issue?
You probably filled it up again, but some air was still trapped in the system and that air is now trapped in the heater core.
Maybe do a coolant bleeding procedure that maybe gets the air out?

thats just my guess... would not hurt to try though?

guide how to do it(its quite simple):

Good memory.

Tx, I'm at the shop, the coolant hose cracked. I guess it's due to old age, or maybe I aggravated it when trying to get unstuck from the snow. Anyway, hope it's not too expensive.

Which hose was it? From where did it break?

The hose to the expansion tank/radiator? developed a leak. Cost about CAD170 to fix.
