Where to source a set of 326 rims?

My new to me e89 came with 18" style 325s which I'm not too crazy about. The tires are > 10 years old and must be replaced. I really like the look of the 19" 326s and rather than buy the 18" tires I'd rather upgrade if possible. I'm trying to find the best source for a complete set but it's not coming easy.

Does anyone have a heads up on how best to get a set of the 326s here on the US side of things? Would BMW still sell these? Given the state of my tires it's not like I can wait on a used set to pop up. I would need these like now.

And is there anything special that needs to be done suspension-wise going from the 18" to the 19"s?

326M are notorious for cracking ..so many are bought to replace existing broken ones..

Maybe choose an alternative?

Suspension wise no changes..you will find the ride harder especially on Adaptive and M Sport versions..

Careful selection of tyres will help ameliorate that issue.

Yeah, I have the Style 326M, which I love, but I have indeed had one crack, ironically on our trip to Snowmass for the ZSCCA Z Fest. Long story, that. I was able to get it repaired and it's fine, but it is something to be aware of.

I have 326Ma on my 35is.

What are the recommendations for replacement wheels? Anyone have suggestions?

golfguy Is the 23 ZFest in your plans this year? There is another track day planned.

I didnt know that 326 wheels had cracking issues. I know 296 style is notorious for developing cracks on rear inside edge. I have 296 wheels and have repaired cracks on mine.

Maybe look into 313 wheels.. They are lighter that 326 and some say they are forged aswell so stronger... Though im not entirely sure about the forged part. +326 is quite common... 313 is rarer.

In the UK forums we've logged many owners with 326M cracking..the worst have had all 4 wheels crack..several have had them rewelded only to crack next to the weld..steady loss of tyre pressure is the ususal clue..

Even with non run flats and/or going to a 35 profile doesn't seem to save them..

There are many suppliers with better reputations than BMW with the 326M..

My most recent choice is Apex with their flow formed Arc 8s

https://www.apexraceparts.com/store/wheels.html

There will be US specific market products..almost all are made either in China or the better ones in Taiwan
