Was not digging the silver roll bars on the Z4. Plasticoat to the rescue! Plenty durable for this application and completely removable should I need to to restore to original. Matte black......SO much better IMO!

Spring additions coming: MMI box, front and rear cameras, Carbon mirror caps, possibly black powder coat stock 18's, Conti DWS06 non RF tires, more TBD.

It was going so well..but what happened to the whippy?

Are they easy to remove for painting or did you do in situ?

Not too bad to remove, you need some pry tools. There are 8 pop grommets that hold each one on. You need to remove the windscreen mounts first. I took my time, was prying pretty good, the mounts are pretty sturdy, nothing broke off or back on.
