Stett Performance FMIC groupbuy
hi guys,
the kind folks over at Stett Performance had engineered the very first FMIC for our s35i. Quoting their reply on my enquiry on the availablity, "Thank you for the PM. Yes that is true, we have developed an FMIC for the Z4 which shares the same statistics as our 135i and 335i intercoolers which can be found on the most powerful N54's in the world. It will support over 620hp at only 80% of it's capacity. It is a full front mount intercooler meaning that it is not mounted underneath the radiator but in front of it ensuring that the FMIC receives as much incoming ambient air as possible to maximize efficiency. This is not only very important now on stock turbos but will be even more important with turbo upgrades in the future when OEM style intercoolers (mounted in stock location) will fall short. We have not made the official release yet for the Z4 kit but were toying with doing so with a group buy through the forums. If you wouldn't mind helping us gauge the interest for a group buy, we can offer a very attractive introductory group buy price if we have enough participants." Now if we can have a decent amount of interest on this. Add your name here for expression of interest. Any questions on it feel free to post here and I will have the stett preformance rep reply to any queries here. 1.sg-e89 2. 3. 4. 5. Last edited by dcs2k; 04-04-2010 at 08:35 AM.. |

I can personally and highly recommend this FMIC as it is mounted on my wife's Z4; it looks great/aggressive and the car pulls considerably harder through the entire rev band - it is noticeable. In addition, since we opted for an aftermarket tune (ESS Stage II); so this FMIC makes sure that everything runs a little cooler.
