Got cold again this morning in Florida, looking like I need to get some firewood for the weekend.

Same here in Chuck-town. 40° this morning. Looking sunny and progressively warmer over the next 5-6 days. 80° by Wednesday, looking forward to that even though I'll be indoors working haha

Everyone is okay we are just crammed in a small guest house with 6 month old twins in the same bedroom. I have gotten maybe 4 hours of sleep in the last 3 days.

Thanks for asking

Running air hose in the garage for new air hose reel

Hanging my new master blaster car dryer to get ready for car washing again.

Re grouting the backsplash in the kitchen where it meets the Countertop. It was grout when we purchased the place. I would prefer it be silicone but I may just go over it to hide some cracking.

Pull pool cover and let the robot get a head start on the junk that blew under the cover.

Round up the driver way weeds.

Install new battery in my non BMW car.

Replace registration sticker in my car

Sounds too fun to be true right ?

I spent my Friday holiday from work installing updates on my home Synology NAS. Still have two big ones to do yet, but have to wait until my DW signs off from work because she is WFH and doesn't get the day off.

I *still* need to flip the hinges on our new washer door, and put the replacement vanity plates on the Bavarian Golf Cart (i3) to get rid of those orange eyesores that NY was issuing up until a few months ago.....

Lunch in the garden district of NOLA. Heading to the go kart track (40+mph karts) and then lighting the fire pit outside. Maybe some hot tub action. Tomorrow our friends are boiling 3 sacks of crawfish. Sunday is boiled crabs and mimosas.

I *finally* got around to ordering personalized plates for the Mighty Dodge today. I've been wanting to put "BEHEMOTH" plates on it since 2008, but my DW objected. Figures that they are not available now. I found something that seems more appropriate, and can't believe that it was still actually available.

Long story short, I'll have *two* sets of new plates to install in a week or so.....

Happy Easter all!

Just got back from my shift and taking the dog for a short run then a few hours sleep.

I came out of the hospital in the middle of a mini blizzard and I had just installed my Summer performance tires a few days ago.

TTFN.

Waking-up to a Winter Wonderland... And it's still coming down and apparently changing to freezing rain overnight. Since I'm committed for the shift tonight, I'll have to arrange for a ride to the hospital. No way am I driving on summer tires in this crap. My Husky is enjoying it though...

I'm just about over the freezing rain now. It's turned to rain and the ice is starting to drop from the trees. I'm glad my car is still snuggled in the barn away from this weather. Maybe I'll get it out next weekend.

The upgraded plates are finally on The Bavarian Golf Cart (i3)! To celebrate, the house got jealous and decided to blow two out of the three under-cabinet xenon puck lights over our kitchen sink. After hours of reading reviews on Amazon, I could not find one brand of LED replacement bulb that would fit inside the puck light fixtures and also properly dim.

Long story short, my project for next weekend will be installing $80 of brand new LED strip lights to replace the 15+ year old xenon pucks with something a little bit more modern. Keeping my fingers crossed that the last bulb doesn't blow out until the new lights arrive.

I will save the rant about all of the firmware updates that I did most of the weekend on all of the network gear around Chez Vreihen, other than to say that humanity is on the verge of an "Idiocracy" (the movie) caliber civilization crash judging by the number of blatantly-obvious bugs/omissions in the allegedly-production-caliber upgrades that I spent the weekend wrestling with......
