How do you like the 365? I’d like to add one to my collection for a EDC during warmer months. I just worry it’s a tad bit small. Currently i use a Taurus G2C which i feel is the perfect size for EDC

I absolutely love the P365. Best carry gun I have ever owned. Only thing I have carried since I bought it earlier this year. Just big enough to fill my hand and nothing else. 10+1 with the small mag and make appendix carry super comfortable with my Versacarry ZeroBulk IWB holster. Perfect package for me. I have the P365 SAS model with the anti-snag treatment and sights built into the slide - it is a great little package.

Don't sweat the winter clothing. If you buy GOOD self defense ammo - 9mm is plenty. It is all about the bullet technology. If it meet FBI protocol - which almost all good brands do - it must pass all their tests including the heavy clothing tests. With the Sig we had to buy the FBI spec clothing block that was like 2 layers of denim, wool and tshirt material and stuff like that. With the proper bullet - clothing means nothing.

You can kind of see this being put to the test here: https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/sel...llistic-tests/

If the P365 fits your hand - I highly recommend checking one out.

Not sure if anyone has been keeping up with the ATF and their B.S. with Polymer 80/ 80% manufacturers and requesting customer information for people who purchased an 80% build kit. Pretty ridiculous, but not surprising given that Biden is about to take office and has stated he wants to ban more shit;

Yep. Big yikes. ATF will have a lot of fields days in the near future especially with Biden & Harris backing them. We have yet to see the worst boys..

Not sure if this is allowed??? But for those looking - prob won't last long.

Not a deal at all - but it's there. I have no finger in this at all - it just came to me on a industry mailing list I am on.

Hey guys need some opinions.....Looking into getting Sako S20 Hunter .380 Win 20" Barrel(6.5 Creedmoor not avail now) vs Tikka T3x compact tactical 6.5 Creedmoor 24" Barrel....Can only get one for now....Im new to guns in general looking for bolt action.....not shooting competition or hunting for now, just trying to collect guns and shoot from time to time.....heard 6.5 Creedmoor is the way to go, would the .380 be fine? cause I really like the Sako...thanks

^ Tough decision. The 6.5 Creedmoor has a strong following and all swear by it being a better straight shooter than .308 Win. The limiting factor is which round is more accessible to you. Likely to find more .308 Win on the shelves or online than 6.5 Creedmor. If you are a reloader by all means 6.5 Creedmoor is the way to go.

Depends on what you plan to do with it. If you want to use it for plinking and not shooting pass 800 yards, .308 will be just fine. Even though 6.5 CM is very common round, it is some what a “exotic” round that is hard to find right now. I went to 3 local shop on Tuesday and they all had 308 available but couldn’t find 6.5 CM at all (good thing I specifically reload my 6.5).

Tikka is made by Sako, you probably already knew that.

Did you say what you are hunting? Varmints and elk require a gun that kills both. If you are only hunting varmints or target shooting, that leads you down a certain path. If you want to hunt elk some day, or think you might, go with a proper cartridge capable of ethically killing large game at several hundred yards.

6.5 Creedmoor is a fad, just like 350 Legend. I wouldn't get caught up in a fad, especially if you are new to guns. Go with something with volume behind it like .270, .308 or .30-06. I am an aught six shooter, Tikka T3 lite stainless.

The Tikka T3 is a tack driver, sub-minute-of-angle straight out of the box. I like the styling of the stainless barrel and black composite stock. Sako is generally a higher price point than Tikka and more often comes with wood stock and other jewelry. But they share the same/similar engineering. I have no regrets and give a strong recommend to the Tikka. The T3x is simply the latest model after the T3.

Don't forget a decent scope. You don't need Leica or Swarovsky, although they are nice. Just like an M850i is nice. I put an entry level Zeiss on my Tikka, but Zeiss isn't offering that price point any more. A Nikon that meets your budget will get you lots of dead animals.

ATF has backed off on the pistol brace ban. Great news for the 2A!

Anyone used a flat trigger in a Sig P320 or P365? Debating whether it would be worth getting for mine. Generally i’m a believer of leaving a guns internals atock but since these are factory upgrades from Sig i was curious if it was noticeable

Sweet 300 BLK Pistol ! I'm building one as well. What can are you using? I went Aero Precision on the upper and lower and ended up with a 10.5" barrel as the 9's were sold out. Waiting on my tunable gas block as it is stuck in USPS limbo.

I used to have the 512, they are top notch holographic optics. Got rid of it because I needed something with magnification
