Ignition coil part no. Delphi n54
Had a bit of a misfire at high load so swapped all plugs with NGK's at 0.022" but still seems a little rough (although no longer causes engine light to come on).
I went down to one of the big UK automotive parts centres and ordered some new coils. I'd read a lot of people are moving to Delphi now, as fitted to the N55 (GN10328 & GN10571). The parts I received were GN10210 - I didn't notice before fitting, but they seem to run ok. Are they correct? After a quick google I cant find anyone else running these? The Delphi part catalogue is pretty poor, and doesn't seem to list the N54 engine at all?! http://www.delphicat.com The coils I received seem to be for the N52? Does it matter? |

I would not use those coils.
Stick with the GN10571 coils I think |
