Which brake pads

I just upgraded my 2010 Z4 with the new M2 sport brake package. Its a bolt on swap, 370mm dia x 30mm rotors with the Brembo "M" 4 piston calipers. The kit came with OEM semi metallic pads P/N 34116878882. Has anyone used these pads for a track day? I've ordered Cool Carbon S/T plus pads but I was thinking of trying the factory pads first. Any thoughts?

I can't answer your pad question but have one of my own. This was just for the front I assume because of the e brake in the rear? Same caliper mounting bracket? What size wheels are you running?

The factory pads in the OE brakes on my 35i did a really good job actually. No fade all day at California Speedway but after that session the pads were cracked and a bit noisy. I switched to EBC YellowStuff after that and felt immediate improvement in bite at high temps but boy do you pay the price with dust...

I'm running 18" wheels. I had to grind down the brake pad weights to clear the wheel balancing weights. It's that close a fit. Could not use rear calipers in kit because of E brake issue.
