Wind Deflector
I have a 2011 Z4 30i (E89) and want to install a wind deflector. Any opinions on glass versus mesh screen? Which works better for cabin noise reduction and reducing wind turbulence? Specific recommendations on brand/web link/etc. are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same situation! Definitely looking for the mesh OEM one. I'm trying to source all of the different parts of the assembly through different dealership websites to get the best prices

Love the tinted "Windrestictor" installed in 2013. All good.

I had a plexiglass one and I found that all it did was cause wind buffeting inside the passenger compartment. The glass deflectors do not allow wind to pass through so it bounces back and just causes turbulence inside the passenger compartment. I finally got a mesh deflector and this works great. The wind passes through but in a controlled way. It greatly reduces turbulence. I’m glad I switched to mesh.
