Speakers Replacement

Hi I'm Antonio from Alicante (Spain), I have for 4 months a Z4 3.0 of 2011, manual. I am very happy with the car removing from the sound quality of the stereo, I understand that it should be the basic by how you hear ...: So I have decided to change the speakers, I do not want much complication, no new wiring or stage power. I just want to change the 6 speakers I have. For what I would be grateful you would recommend models and brands that fit the original holes.
Thank you

Speaking from experience, Bavsound only offers the upgrade for the standard Hi-Fi system, not the 6 speaker setup. I think the best you can do is replace only the door speakers, in which FOCAL has a kit.

Yes. It's what I want, but it does not seem to fit the E89 as it does not appear on the cars compatibility list. I'm afraid they will not fit in the holes.

Good point. I have it installed in my car, so I am not sure this is the exact same kit. Worth doing your research or calling them. I can say that I do indeed have Focal speakers in my door, and they make a nice difference.

I have the E89 kit but have yet to install. Quality looks good and Bavsound provides a video of the install process. Contact them to ask about particulars for your car.

I have the 6 speaker setup and did the bavsound upgrade. Its an upgrade over stock but didn't meet my expectations. It only replaces the tweeter and midrange. The woofer in the footwell is an odd size and they dont have a replacement for it which defeats the purpose of a plug and play kit since they leave the most key component out.

If i was going to do it overagain, id get the focal set.

Also, the biggest upgrade i found was by adding an external alpine powerpack amp under the dash to power the fronts. That made a big difference and was worth the upgrade. I had mine installed professionally for under 200.

I have the Bavsound upgrade on my 10 speaker setup (2015 s28i). I'm happy with the sound improvement and installation was really easy.
