With the engine regs frozen, we'll see what really happens. Who knows what levels the engines are running at at the moment. RBR will always be at a disadvantage due to an engine that's really only been properly developed in the last 2 years.

My friend I agree . MAX had a rear tire puncture by carbon fiber debris at Imola .
The slow-motion images showed it was by debris on track ...Last year I posted the video as well.
The mean reason why was the Mercedes multi-tire failures .
In more than one race , Mercedes got front and rear tire •*blistering !
So , Pirelli did a great job for Mercedes !

So I'm standing by my words and statement .

Could be the cover was hurriedly made and a few screw holds gave way causing a fissure and rushing air getting inside at such pressure causing the cover to blow apart outwards.

Today Horner pushed the button accidentally . And it seems to work flawlessly ....
Note : Toto Wolff confirmed it can be done . He has done it with Russell's tires in Bahrein !

Ending up in the kitty litter wasn't in his plan and no sandbagging there I think..! Now Hammy must know what it must have been like for Max battling with a tail happy car that had to have less wing to stay with the Mercs and one that only Max could master with prowess..
