Looks like hydraulics are not powerful enough to lift the roof... So i would look into that... Hydraulics fluid level can be checked. Maybe its low?

Saw this in repair manual:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...e-top/8Izcdy22

If that shows fluid level being OK...

Maybe pump itself not creating pressure?
Hydraulic cylinders not actuating under pressure?
Lines not sending pressure to cylinders? Damaged line. Maybe one side has pressure to actuate but other side doesnt. There are two cyllinders doing the job: left and right.

Does there exist a history of roof issues? I.e. did anybody do some repairs in the past.

What about the repeatedly lifting of the roof shell: does it "dance" itself like on the video or do you press a button repeatedly?

Operate your roof only with the engine running

Nonsense. Thats only an option, if the battery is weak and has not been replaced in the last 10 years.

I think RobbiZ4 needs to do a US tour and diagnose/fix all of our tops!
