European Sun Visors

Hi, everybody. Has anybody found an easy way to buy European sun visors (or other European parts)? I could ask relatives and friends in the old country, but I’m hoping to find a shop, a breaker, etc, to click and have it posted to America. (Oh, I’m not interested in home remedies to remove the airbag sticker.) Thanks. Marc.

eBay. I bought my oddments tray from a dealer on eBay. No problem. Long lead times but he was upfront about that.

now i havent used this site yet, but it may help, link has all sunvisors listed but you can search by partnumber for what you want... leather visors are expensive though:

My driver side sunvisor has a crack in the mirror, thats why i searched for a replacement. I have extended leather so my sunvisors are covered in it aswell. Seeing the price asked for a new one on that site i kind of ditched the idea. i dont use that mirror anyway. If i happened to stumble upon a cheap one on ebay then i would get one but to pay 400+ for something i dont see or use anyway seemed like a waste of money.


EDIT: Hubauer doesnt seem to have an option to choose shipping to USA. But you can contact them to add that option. I just had a similar issue on another webshop, asked to add my country to the list and they did.

Thx Kenny. I’ve only been in 2 E89s, both 35is loaded. I could be wrong, but I think once you choose ‘black leather’ it’s the same for all models. That’s from the pictures I’m seeing. As for a €400 visor, lol. They run $100 the pair delivered. Somebody is bound to have cracked this.

Spy, of course I’m looking at eBay. But no cigar. If you have a local shop or breaker, and if you could share their info, I’d really appreciate that. Thanks.

Yes i have searched around... on ebay in usa they really are like 100 eur or so some even with stitching it seems but then they are with those american stickers... and then there are ordinary ones that dont have the stitching at the edges of the visor. If i go with correct partnumber... no luck.

And here is extended leather option... i have the same interior... notice the stitching etc on the visors. If i look at z4 interior pictures on google search, all cars that have top of the dash and doors in leather have these leather visors.

I reckon I don't have extended leather then. Good to know. Below is my car. I'll take a closer look, but I cannot see any stitching. So it's 'basic'.

If you see a used pair in decent shaped listed in or near your country, and if you could share the link, I'd really appreciate that. If they don't deliver to America, perhaps I could have it posted to you, and you could post it to me. I'll pay for everything. And I'll gladly return the favour.
