I like the front bumper on the 35is better than this M-Sport bumper. Also, since the 35is already sits 10mm lower than the 35i, I assume it comes with this suspension and wouldn't get any suspension changes if one were to opt for the M-Sport package, right?

-1 on the rims, as i think the current rim selection is good enough. but i do like that little tiny "m" logo.
-1 on the rear bumper. the reason is i recall the s2000 had a matted rear bumper during the initial release years and then later went to an all color matched bumper, which I liked. one thing positive is that maybe it will help keeping the rear of the car cleaner from dust, dirt, bugs.... +1 on the dead pedal, side sills, and shift nob (sticker?). this is my first bmw 35i and i recall being in a rental x3 with the "m" sport packaging. i was really confused because i thought the "m" line was for "m" cars. these parts look very cosmetic and i feel like i'm buying just the "m" appeal on a non "m" car and giving up my hard earned mula. but i do have to say the "m" logo is appealing as its branding is well known to enthusiasts and even the chicks. |

Why are they diluting this model line? Wouldn't it have been enough to just have the 30i, 35i, and M version??? I'm sticking with my pre-ordered 35i. There's nothing Earth shattering about the M or 35is to warrant a $10k-$15k price increase.
I think BMW hit a home run with the 35i. Hitting the ball another 10-15 feet out-of-the-park adds nothing to the end result.

M Sport packages run around $4k depending on model. That means an M Sport 3.0i will run high $50s with a similar look to a $75k loaded 3.5is.

where are the bmw performance add ons ??? i guess most e89 owners are more likely to be willing to spend their cash on bmw performance parts rather than m sport exterior upgrades ... and that includes myself !
also, IMHO the 19 inch BMW performance wheels are WAY better ... maybe its just me |
