I remember the days when ordering iced tea, they didn't automatically assumed you wanted that horrible rot gut sweet tea.

Yes the bamboo is surprisingly good - sturdy, ergonomically functional and doesn't seem to be made with resins or coatings. If it is offered in mainstream grocery stores I would consider buying it in place of plastic cutlery if the price is reasonable.
