On a circuit where Merc have dominated previously Max won by 16 seconds from BOT and HAM appeared to be floundering with ALB just a whisker away at the finish.

I didnt see anything in that article about 0.01 seconds less, but here's a direct quote from the team’s head of trackside operations Andrew Shovlin:

“[It was] small, not an amount that’s going to determine the race result. You’re talking significantly less than a tenth of a second [per lap] so not the difference between first and second.”

Makes you wonder what the difference was between this years car/conditions and the past years where they didnt have much competition. Only thing I know of is that the track had less rubber as there weren't any F2 and F3 support races.

I downloaded and watched "1917" mid June . Yeah, that was a good one

Well ,yesterday it looked like MAX drove in the Merc and HAM and BOT in the RB16 .
Yesterday MAX didn't got competition . He just ran like a bullet to the victory .
In the 7 last laps he lifted the pedal....Imagine !

Yeah , a higher top speed is like "MAGIC" while he ran like a GOAT !
