I think to just add a little extra push to your routine they are nice but IMO heavier resistance bands don't seem to allow as natural a movement. I have used a soloflex and never felt like the weight resistance was accurate or natural.

I think they are great for shredding and creating muscle definition.

I do agree with the above post.

I think I will buy a set as they are relatively cheap for £20.

For certain exercises as Bicep curls and working traps and back they should be ok when incorporated with barbell and dumbell training.

They are great for working out in your hotel room while you're traveling. I have a set and mostly my wife used while we did p90x3 last year. I don't use them as much. They seem to help work on your stability because they force your muscles to function in ways the muscles are not use to.... say doing biseps curls, the you get a work out going up and while you extend the arms back down as the elastics pull you down... I just came from doing the good old dumbbell biceps curls and as much as I try to slow down, it aint the same as elastics on the pulling u down. I can how it may help with muscle definition as has been said.... matter fact, I'll give them shot next week.

Well I was looking into new workouts for the arms and came across some Rich Piana workout he does. And he was like you get a better pump doing bicep curls using a cable machine rather than dumbells. Well I dont have a cable machine in my home gym so decided to get the resistance bands instead to give them pump.

Are you 70 plus or need to work out in your hotel room on the road?

i think it is something people on social media started doing to make it look like they know something that other people don't and to look different. I'm sure there can be some benefits but when it comes to working out, the free weights or machines and cables are all you really need. I only use resistance bands for a few of the rehab exercises I have for my shoulder
