Roof Mechanism Rubber Stopper Replacement

Hey folks, I have a 2009 e89 sdrive23i.

I noticed a hardened piece of rubber was left on the top section of the hard top roof after bringing the roof down and up.

Tracing where it came from, I think it came from the parts highlighted in the photos attached. I've noticed that both the rubber stoppers from both sides have hardened and dropped off.

Few questions:
1. Should I be worried about damaging the roof if I continue to operate it with no rubber stoppers?
2. Is this a part that can be replaced? If yes, where can I get this rubber stopper from?

I believe it's the "bump stop" - Item 18. But I'm not quite sure

Many thanks in advance!

It;s a no brainer, go buy and replace.

Then lube so they don't stick.

In Asia i would say roof not been operated much, reason to stick.
