Boot full of goodies..more boost Mr Sulu!

Off to my Indy for TTE500 turbos, VSRF charge pipe and inlets, VTT turbo outlets, Wagner Evo 3 FMIC plus uprated LPFP, uprated GUIBO and prop support…what possibly could go wrong !

So, for now our final dyno day’s results..after various issues with a persistent cylinder 6 misfire caused by what we believe is erroneous factors and the boost leak caused by the Indy not fitting the inter connector silicon hose between the two turbo outer pipes..here we are..

With our Mr.5 inlet mod and the final tune V13+ aka ‘spicy’ which is 21.5 psi boost tapering to 20.5 psi here we go…546 BHP and 738Nm

Just about spot on compared to TTE the turbo people’s demonstrated N54 test..we did it on less boost ..so pretty good

Approx 50% of the increase over the max of 502 on v6 with no air filter is due to the Mr.5 inlet mod and the rest with many iterations of tuning covering boost, ignition timing and VANOS settings..this number is with a stock Mahle filter in the main box and a Pipercross Lotus inspired foam cone c/f filter…enjoy!

Hi,

I have a FBO 35is here in the US. What is this upgraded guibo that you have installed and what does it do?

Thanks,
Jake

It’s a prop shaft coupler…as it turned out the old one at 65k miles was still in good condition..

Thanks for your pm…for some reason I can’t reply to it at the moment…

I will check it out, regarding the M3 steering knuckle. Do you have a part number for that.

Thanks,
Shahid

This is the latest and by the look best option..

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...ding-m-models/

A cheaper option would be to source the TRW versions without the monoball for about 300 USD

Thanks so much. I have these on my Z. I thought this is something that is in the actual steering column.
Do you ever feel like your front is kinda floaty when you are going at high speeds?
Some folks have experienced this and I feel like I also experience this at times.

I had this feeling which dissipated when I fitted uprated Meyle had steering tie rods..plus I have Ohlins suspension well dialled in and more castor about 2 degrees..

The point being is that all these parts interact..sport contact 7 tyres also improved feel and stability..

Just chiming in that I bought brand new OEM M3 wishbones from this shop in Germany https://www.hubauer-shop.de/de/ for €97 per piece. TRW was €110 locally in Estonia.

Hubauer is great! I also got one oem m3 control arm from them... upper one passenger side... and that one was alot more expensive than TRW at the time...

TRW arm was out of stock everywhere i looked and so ended up buying one OEM one instead...my 3 TRW arms cost almost the same as this one oem arm...

That was years ago and pricing does change... seems like TRW has raised its prices...

Shipping to Estonia can be high though... i ordered new o rings for the intercooler from them recently and they asked 20 eur to send 2 o rings to me which is basically a small envelope...

You are right! TRW prices have basically doubled....

What i paid for my TRW M3 Arms in 2021 september (Autodoc):
left upper and both lower arms

So basically a price hike from 51 eur and 63 eur to 124 eur(thats what they are asking now on autodoc) in 2 years :S crazy...
